Twiplomacy is the leading global study of world leaders on Twitter. The governments of more than three-quarters (77.7%) of the 193 UN member countries have a presence on Twitter: Almost half of the 505 accounts analysed are personal accounts of heads of state, heads of government and ministers of foreign affairs; a third of these world leaders tweet themselves, but very few on a regular basis.

Ho Hum…On to Brisbane
Two days after the official communiqué was released, the St. Petersburg G20 Summit has virtually disappeared from media commentary. It is quickly becoming the most forgettable of the five G20 summits held to date. If this result was due to a lack of important issues facing the global economy, this may be understandable. Sadly, this is not the case. The reality is that the G20 may be becoming forgettable as a forum to provide the global economic leadership that it was created to achieve.
